new houses from old memories axonometric study, pencil and digital collage, 2009
exploratory sketch study from my final 6th year project, demonstrating the concept of a central prefabricated core and flexible mezzanine. the shell began as an open entity into which the living patterns of future inhabitants would be imprinted.
terrace view, pencil and digital colour, 2009
final presentation illustration from a project developing a housing scheme for a site in sheffield. inhabitants could select the exterior finish to distinguish their house from the next, whilst assembling the interior of the house shell during the design process in line with their own living patterns.
selby stories, pencil on cartridge, 2009
